The Salt March, also known as the Salt Satyagraha, Dandi March and the Dandi Satyagraha, was an act of nonviolent civil disobedience in colonial India led by Mahatma Gandhi. The 24-day march lasted from 12 March 1930 to 5 April 1930 as a direct action campaign of tax resistance and nonviolent protest against the British salt monopoly. Another reason for this march was that the Civil Disobedience Movement needed a strong inauguration that would inspire more people to follow Gandhi's example. Gandhi started this march with 78 of his trusted volunteers. The march spanned 240 miles (390 km), from Sabarmati Ashram to Dandi, which was called Navsari at that time (now in the state of Gujarat). Growing numbers of Indians joined them along the way. When Gandhi broke the British Raj salt laws at 6:30 am on 6 April 1930, it sparked large scale acts of civil disobedience against the salt laws by millions of Indians.

This Event is organized to encourage fitness and promote fitness amongst the population.

1) Complete that distance between Between 12th March - 05th April 2021

2) Record your activities in any GPS tracking app and send that activity screenshot / link on marketmovers35@gmail.com or email us on jrathod83@gmail.com as soon as you finish the run

3) All the participants will receive the E- certificate via email upon finishing the run and submitting the photos in 20 Days.

Rules and Regulation:

1. It is mandatory to follow all social distancing rules.

2. Registration on town script is mandatory.

3. It is mandatory to share your pictures and selfies.

4. It is mandatory to use applications like Strava, Nike run, Garmin, Adidas/ any smartwatch app.

5. This Virtual Run will not be responsible for any injury or suffering that occurred to you during the event, it is necessary to take medical advice from your doctor for your Physical Fitness and safety of your health.

6. It is mandatory to select the category.

7. It is mandatory to fill all your information in the given form

8. You agree to abide by the instructions provided by the organizers from time to time in the best interest of your health and event safety.

9. You confirm that your name and media recordings were taken during the participation may be used to publish the event.

10. You may acknowledge that your name and personal information can be stored and used by Future sports.
