The Japanese yen slipped 0.4%, more than any closing loss since Jan. 4
Bonds
Germany’s 10-year yield advanced two basis points to the highest in almost three years
Britain’s 10-year yield advanced four basis points to 1.19%
Commodities
West Texas Intermediate crude rose 0.6% to $84.30 a barrel
Gold futures rose 0.1% to $1,818.40 an ounce
