South Korea’s Kospi index increased 1.8%
Australia’s S&P/ASX 200 index climbed 1.1%
Hang Seng Index futures jumped 5% earlier
Currencies
The Japanese yen was at 118.94 per dollar, down 0.2%
The offshore yuan was at 6.3643 per dollar
The Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index rose 0.1%
The euro was at $1.1031
Bonds
The yield on 10-year Treasuries fell one basis point to 2.17%
Australia’s 10-year yield increased four basis points to 2.53%
Commodities
West Texas Intermediate crude rose 0.7% to $95.73 a barrel
Gold was at $1,927.20 an ounce
