The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.5%

The MSCI World index fell 0.7%


Currencies

The Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index fell 0.1%

The euro was little changed at $0.9975

The British pound rose 0.4% to $1.1537

The Japanese yen rose 1% to 143.15 per dollar


Bonds

The yield on 10-year Treasuries was little changed at 3.40%

Germany’s 10-year yield declined one basis point to 1.72%

Britain’s 10-year yield declined four basis points to 3.13%


Commodities

West Texas Intermediate crude rose 0.9% to $88.11 a barrel

Gold futures fell 0.7% to $1,704.90 an ounce.
