Stocks

The S&P 500 fell 1.1%, more than any closing loss since Jan. 30 as of 9:30 a.m. New York time

The Nasdaq 100 fell 1.5%, more than any closing loss since Feb. 8

The Dow Jones Industrial Average fell 0.8%, more than any closing loss since Jan. 18

The Stoxx Europe 600 fell 0.3%, more than any closing loss since Feb. 10

The MSCI World index was little changed


Currencies

The Bloomberg Dollar Spot Index rose 0.2% to the highest since Jan. 5

The euro fell 0.2% to $1.0671

The British pound fell 0.4% to $1.1983

The Japanese yen weakened 0.1%,falling for the fourth straight day, the longest losing streak since Nov. 21


Cryptocurrencies

Bitcoin rose 1% to the highest in about six months

Ether rose 0.5% to $1,674.45


Bonds

The yield on 10-year Treasuries advanced four basis points to 3.84%

Germany’s 10-year yield advanced three basis points to 2.51%

Britain’s 10-year yield advanced four basis points to 3.53%


Commodities

West Texas Intermediate crude was little changed

Gold futures fell 0.2% to $1,842.50 an ounce.
